Meet the new Pioneer 1000 Deluxe
Everywhere you look, you’ll see improvements to our Pioneer 1000 Deluxe. Just as with our new five-seat model, throttle by wire now enables new drive modes, smoother shifting, better throttle response, variable speed limiter, cruise control, and a speed-limiter “key.” Plus, there are new Honda Pro-Connect mounting points in the bed, more underseat storage, even better Electric Power Steering—and we’re just getting started!
Comfort & Convenience
- USB-C PORT: Charge your mobile device, listen to music, operate things like a GPS or much more—a new USB-C port is super convenient.
- EXTERIOR FUEL CAP: New for 2026: Now you can refuel with out opening the doors thanks to a relocated fuel-filler cap.
- MORE, LARGER CUPHOLDERS: Six in total now: two on the instrument panel, two in the doors, and two in the center floorboard area, all sized to hold most popular large, insulated drinkware.
- MORE UNDERSEAT STORAGE: The convenient underseat storage area has a large opening, which keeps objects close at hand and easily accessible.
- BED-DUMP LEVER: Our tilt/dump-bed design is a great versatile benefit, and now it’s even better. Relocating the dump lever makes it easier and less hassle to get to and use.
- PRO-CONNECT BED: More versatility? You got it! Honda’s exclusive Pro-Connect system makes adding and removing accessories a (literal) snap. With 14 Pro-Connect mounting locations and ten new accessories coming soon, Pro-Connect is better than ever.
- BED LIGHTING: Moving the bed light illuminates the entire cargo area, yet still won’t shine in your eyes.
- UNDER-DASH STORAGE: This practical under-dash shelf comes standard and keeps frequently used items right up front in the cab.
- 12-VOLT ACCESSORY SOCKET: The Deluxe features a standard 12-volt power socket in the bed perfect for powering a spotlight, air compressor, and more.
- 3-PERSON CONTOURED BENCH SEAT: Contoured for three passengers, the front seat features a center positioned up and forward to maximize space and comfort and a durable covering designed to resist the elements and heavy use.
- CRUISE CONTROL: This is a big plus, especially if you’re using your Pioneer for agricultural use where you want a steady, even speed over fields for spraying or seeding operations.
- REAR-VIEW MIRROR MOUNTING BRACKET: All Pioneer 1000 models feature an integral mounting bracket on the rollover protection structure, making it easier than ever to mount a rear-view mirror.
- TILT WHEEL: A tilt steering wheel is designed to make getting in and out more accessible. We’ve given it a wide range of adjustments and a spring-loaded damper that makes tilting a snap.
- COOL CABIN: Engineered to manage cabin heat as effectively as possible, you’ll ride cooler and be more comfortable in warm-weather conditions.
- EASIER AIR-FILTER MAINTENANCE: Air-filter maintenance is easier than ever now, and totally tool-free too.
Engineering
- FULLY AUTOMATIC SIX-SPEED DCT: With our Honda six-speed Dual-Clutch Transmission (DCT), you can choose between manual mode or fully automatic. There’s even an easy-to-use tow/haul mode, along with 2WD, 4WD, Differential Lock, and Turf selections.
- SELECTABLE DRIVE MODES: Four selectable drive modes (Comfort, Normal, Sport and Tow/Haul) let you fine-tune your Pioneer 1000’s power delivery, shift points, and acceleration to the task at hand. You get top performance and a comfortable ride for every riding condition!
- ADVANCED TRANSMISSION LOGIC: The DCT’s advanced transmission logic system senses your driving and adapts. Relaxed drivers get earlier shifts for a quieter ride. Sportier drivers get each gear held longer for higher rpm shifts. And you get real engine braking when going downhill.
- VEHICLE SPEED CONTROLS: Throttle by wire enables the Pioneer 1000 Deluxe to offer cruise control, a variable speed limiter, and a speed-limiter key. Cruise control is perfect for moving from one field to another. The variable speed limiter is great for tasks like spraying, mowing, and spreading. And the speed-limiter key keeps things under 25 mph for employees or less experienced operators.
- PADDLE SHIFTING: Steering-column-mounted paddle shifters add a dose of performance to every drive. In Manual mode, they let you shift without ever taking your hands off the wheel, and in Automatic mode, they let you override the current gear with a quick up or downshift.
- TURF/2WD/4WD/DIFF LOCK: When the terrain gets challenging and you need maximum traction, switch to 4WD. And if you need the most power from all four wheels, lock the front and rear differentials. When it’s time to protect more sensitive surfaces, select Turf Mode. The best part? You can easily do all this with a single lever.
- HIGH/LOW SUBTRANSMISSION: With a 42% gear reduction between High and Low, you get the necessary torque in all six gears. This comes in handy when navigating rugged terrain, climbing steep hills, or towing heavy loads.
- 1000-POUND-CAPACITY BED*: One of the most impressive features of this vehicle is its half-ton hauling capacity. Additionally, we’ve made it easier to dump with a hydraulic assist tilt bed lever. *600-pound bed capacity for CA models
- 2500-POUND TOWING CAPACITY: The 1000 lineup can haul up to 2500 pounds, making it possible to complete bigger jobs without having to use a tractor or a truck.
- FORMED ROPS: Our new formed ROPS (Roll Over Protection Structure) helps create a better sealing surface for accessories, especially items like doors and windshields. Accessories for the new model will be available soon.
- STANDARD ROOF: Here’s some welcome news—you asked for it, and now the Pioneer 1000 Deluxe comes standard with a roof for better weather and sun protection.
- DOOR LATCHES: No detail is too small when you’re as close to perfection as a Pioneer 1000 Deluxe is. New door latches this year mean fewer rattles for a better driver/passenger experience.
- CONNECTED DOOR NETS: Honda is all about safety, and our new connected door nets make safer operation easier and more hassle-free than ever. Now there’s no need to clip or unclip a door-net buckle when you open or close the front doors.
- INTERIOR: Major changes to the interior include a new instrument panel, and way more comfort, thanks to better sealing and isolation from engine heat.
- LED HEADLIGHTS: LED headlights are sculpted to match the machine’s lines, giving it an aggressive look even when sitting still. They are brighter and feature a specially designed lighting pattern that better illuminates the environment in front of you.
- MADE IN THE U.S.A: Planned by Honda in our Georgia headquarters, developed and engineered in our Ohio design facility, and produced in our Timmonsville, South Carolina factory, the Pioneer 1000 family is purpose-built for the North American customer base, using domestic and globally sourced parts.
Handling
- CHASSIS AND SUSPENSION: Beefy tires, long-travel independent front and rear suspension, and our sophisticated driveline provide excellent handling and comfort.
- INDEPENDENT FRONT AND REAR SUSPENSION: Dual A-arm suspension provides 10.6 inches of front travel and 10 inches in the rear. Along with ample ground clearance, you get maximum traction and comfort.
- MAXXIS BIG HORN 2.0 TIRES: All models come with high-performance Maxxis Big Horn 2.0 tires, providing exceptional off-road traction and long-lasting durability.
- PREMIUM WHEELS: Our Pioneer 1000 Deluxe has 14-inch aluminum wheels with an all-black finish.
- IMPROVED ELECTRIC POWER STEERING: Our Electric Power Steering (EPS) motor has 50-percent more torque now, and is tuned to improve driver comfort, especially when you’re loaded with passengers and cargo. You also get a more consistent steering effort when operating over rocky terrain or deep mud.
- FOUR-WHEEL DISC BRAKES: Our high-quality disc brakes are designed for consistent performance, even in debris-heavy environments. Trust in their reliability and stop with confidence on the trail.
- SOPHISTICATED CHASSIS: Some of the most impressive features are those you’ll never see. In addition to the suspension and ground clearance, we rubber-mounted the engine and exhaust system to help insulate the cabin against vibration.
Performance
- POWERFUL 999CC TWIN-CYLINDER ENGINE: With plenty of power—especially in the midrange and top end—you’ll experience quick acceleration and exceptional overall performance.
- ENGINE AIR INTAKE: We placed the air intake higher up in the hood to ensure a clean air supply when fording rivers, streams, bogs, and even deep mud puddles at greater depths, resulting in improved performance.
- THROTTLE BY WIRE: The Pioneer 1000’s throttle-by-wire (TBW) system enables a whole host of improvements. What you’ll notice first, though, is how smooth the shifts are now.
Style
- STYLING: One look will tell you the new Pioneer 1000 Deluxe is full of changes. Bold new fenders and bodywork, a new grille and new graphics shout that this Pioneer means business!
Technology
- LCD INSTRUMENT DISPLAY: The LCD instrument display is easy to read and has big, bright graphics. It includes indicators for speed, fuel level, rpm, transmission mode, water temperature, trip information, and more.
- ACCESSORY SWITCH PANEL: Standard equipment on the Deluxe: the switch panel has room for seven switches, letting you control things like a winch, accessory lights, and more. A fully integrated design, it sits in the center of the dashboard. Accessories for the new model will be available soon.
