What else does my young rider need?

A properly fitted helmet, goggles, gloves, boots, and long sleeves and pants, plus adult supervision every ride. Ask us about ATV Safety Institute rider training as well. It’s the best money you’ll never spend on parts.

How old does my rider need to be for the YFZ50 in Virginia?

Virginia law allows riders under 12 on ATVs of 70cc or less, so the YFZ50’s 49cc engine fits even the youngest riders the manufacturer recommends it for (6 and up). Every rider must wear an approved helmet.
