Where to ride in Virginia At Richmond Honda House/Sprocketz we know that not everyone has a place to ride their new dirt bike or ATV or side x side. I wanted to put a list together with links of places you can take your new ride and have some fun. Remember to always call ahead to make sure the place is open when you want to go and what safety equipment they may require for the type of riding you want to do.

• Big Boys Playground in Harrisonburg, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides. They have over 100 acres with 5 miles of forest trails. No membership required.
• Birch Creek Motorsports Park in Danville, VA. allows dirt bikes and atv’s. This is a pro AMA motorsports race track for ATV and motocross racing. They have two race tracks located on 100 acres. Definitely call ahead to make sure they are open when you want to go.
• Catfish ATV Trails and Pond in Martinsville, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides. They have 600 acres with over 60 miles of forest trails. It also has stocked ponds and fishing tournaments.
• Charles City Dirt Riders in Charles City, VA allows dirt bikes only. They have 6 miles of trails on 100 acres. They have motocross tracks and trails. The even have tracks for beginners. They do require a membership fee.
• Coal Canyon in Grundy, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s, and side x sides. They have 112 miles of forest trails over 5,600 acres. They do require a permit to ride.
• Elkhorn Lake and Campground in Java, Va allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides (restricted trail use). They have 31 miles of forest trails on 560 acres.
• Moto Cove in Gore, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides. They have 38 miles of forest trail over 3000 acres.
• Budds Creek in Mechanicsville, MD allows dirt bike and ATV’s. They are a Pro AMA sanction nationals motocross track. You will want to call ahead for times and rates in order to ride on this track. They also have several races throughout the year.
• Lake Sugar Tree in Axton, VA allows dirt bikes and ATV’s (sometimes). They have a 1.25 mile motocross track and a small pee wee track for young riders.
• Pocahontas OHV Trail in Pocahontas, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides. They have 73 miles of forest trails over 1000 acres.
• Rivers Edge Outdoors LLC in Chatham, VA allows dirt bikes only. They have 20 miles of forest trails over 250 acres. Fun and challenging terrain
• Slades Park in Surry, VA allows dirt bikes, atv’s and side x sides. They have 12 miles of forest trails over 300 acres.
• South Fork Competition Park in Disputanta, VA allows dirt bikes and atv’s (sometimes). They have motocross track. They do require a membership.
